I’m fully qualified and have both a Foundation Degree and BA(hons) in Integrative Counselling from the University of Worcester. I belong to the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP – the largest professional body for counselling and psychotherapy in the UK). I meet the strict standards required to be on the Professional Standards Authority Accredited Registers.
Some years ago, when I first began training as a counsellor, I read a poem called “Be with me, please”. It inspired me to write this reply “Right Here With You” which sums up how I feel about being a counsellor.
