OPTIONS FOR STARTING OR CONTINUING WITH THERAPY

If you would like to start/move to therapy by video call on Skype, you can find me with my email address if you already have Skype, or by using this link if you don’t (it’s free, quick to install, simply click on the video call button – top right of your screen – to start your session): https://join.skype.com/invite/bIdwSULX2JYn

Alternatively, if you do not want to/feel able to use video call, then I offer in-person sessions at my therapy room. I have received both my COVID vaccinations and boosters. I use an air purifier in the room if it’s too chilly to have the 4 windows open, where our chairs are 3 metres apart. I wash my hands and sanitise client touchable surfaces before/after each client and we have a regularly cleaned toilet as well as a hand sanitiser in our entrance lobby.

I ask all clients who wish to come for in-person sessions to commit to sanitising their hands upon arrival, and to inform me and stay away if they have a continuous cough, or loss of sense of taste/smell, or general flu symptoms. You may wear a mask to enter the building if you choose, but once settled in my therapy room I do not require you to wear a mask (unless you wish to do so), and neither do I.

Despite the precautions listed above we are at risk of infection should either of us have contracted the virus, due to the face-to-face position and prolonged exposure during a therapy session. Bearing this in mind, please carefully consider your choice to come for in-person sessions.

My choice is that I will continue to offer face-to-face therapy to any client who, after considering all the risks and implications, still feels they need to access face-to-face therapy. I offer a free initial telephone conversation, giving you as much time and space as you need to consider whether you’d like to work with me.
